MISSION

VISION

MISSION

“Spiritual Life Church is submitted to the Spirit of God,

to minister to a multi-cultural society through the demonstration of God’s love and power in the spirit of excellence, in fulfillment of Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part

of the earth.” Spiritual Life Church (SLC) knows their

calling is to spread the Gospel to our Jerusalem, which is the Twin Cities. Our Samaria is the 5-state area where

we send the Gospel by television and college graduates

to start churches. The world is touched by this church by their mission giving and going of our people to

the mission field.”

VISION

“Spiritual Life functions in God’s divine order and inspiration: to glorify God the Father by bringing men and women, boys and girls into the fullness of life through a saving knowledge by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who calls them to become the people of God, that they might effectively do the work commissioned by God. This commission is to go back into the world to increase the fellowship of believers, who through the power of the Holy Spirit will influence society through their demonstration of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are a growing and witnessing body of believers with national and international churches and bible schools. God has said He would send into this house people of diverse cultures and nationalities, and He is faithful as we see the truth of His word every week.”

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
  • In one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary; that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right had of the Father as the intercessor for us.
  • That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for forgiveness of sins.
  • That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • In sanctification subsequent to the birth, through faith in the blood of Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
  • Holiness is God’s standard of living for His people.
  • In the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
  • In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that is evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
  • In water baptism by immersion, and that all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
  • Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
  • In the Lord’s Supper.
  • In the Pre-millennial second coming of Jesus: first to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air; second, to reign on the earth one thousand years.
  • In the bodily resurrection, eternal life to the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
